
I sold some of my assorted household goods on ebay—a cookie jar, an old Mac powerbook (with very little power), a Cornish teapot, a hand-painted dish—and bought a digital elph. It takes up such a small amount of space compared to all the stuff I sold. I'm a careless person and I'm worried about loosing it or accidentally leaving it in a jacket pocket and then putting the jacket in the washing machine. I got a new memory card for it today and now I have to scrounge around the house for some more stuff to sell to pay for it. But the camera is a joy to have and carry and takes terrific pictures. I’m only hampered by my immobility—I have nothing to take pictures of . . .
